Singer and dancer who won the talent show 偶像练习生 in 2018 and debuted in the group Nine Percent. His self-introduction as a trainee who likes singing, dancing, rap and basketball became a long-running internet joke.

The 'chicken' joke is a mishearing: in 《只因你太美》, the song in his trainee video, 只 'only' comes out clipped and sounds like 鸡 'chicken'. When the NBA made him a New Year ambassador in 2019, 'you play ball like Cai Xukun' became a jab at bad basketball.
