Made by the Shenzhen studio 游戏科学 (Game Science) and released in August 2024, 黑神话：悟空 sends a monkey warrior through scenes from 西游记 and real temples across China. It sold over ten million copies in three days and is often called China's first 3A大作 'AAA game'.

usage

On its own 黑神话 usually means Black Myth: Wukong. The second game, announced in 2025, is 黑神话：钟馗, about the demon queller Zhong Kui.
