history
Born 高, he was renamed 慕容云 in 397 when the Later Yan emperor 慕容宝 adopted him for putting down a rebellion. On taking the throne he went back to 高, so histories use both names.
usage
高云 is also an ordinary modern name, literally 'high cloud', so in a modern text it almost always means someone else.
