usage
青豆 means different beans in different places: in some it is green peas (豌豆), the small round ones in fried rice; in others it is shelled green soybeans, the beans sold in the pod as 毛豆 (edamame). Menus and markets use it both ways.
Female protagonist of Haruki Murakami's novel 《1Q84》(2009-2010); her Japanese surname 青豆 (Aomame, 'green peas') is rendered with the same characters in the Chinese translation.
