Every Wednesday evening lots of people go to Happy Valley to watch the horse races.
Tips
culture
The racecourse has been running since 1846, and its Wednesday night race meetings are a fixture of Hong Kong life. The Chinese name means "horse-running ground".
mistakes
Don't mix it up with the theme parks called 欢乐谷: they are also "Happy Valley" in English, but the Hong Kong neighbourhood is 跑马地.
