A wooden frame lashed over a dozen or more whole sheepskins, each sewn airtight and blown up. It was the ferry and cargo craft of the upper Yellow River in Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai; today it mostly carries tourists, at places such as
沙坡头. Also called
皮筏子 or
皮筏.
