Tips

history
The 《四库全书》 copied about 3,500 works into some 36,000 bound volumes. It was also a censorship drive: about 3,100 titles judged hostile to the Qing were banned and destroyed while it was compiled.
culture
The TV feud bends history: Ji was 26 years older than 和珅. His contemporaries paired him instead with the poet 袁枚 as 北纪南袁, 'Ji in the north, Yuan in the south'.
