Table tennis player who won the men's doubles gold with 吕林 at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, and the singles silver in Atlanta in 1996, losing the final to 刘国梁.
He was a left-hander with the shakehand grip, 横拍 'horizontal bat', not the penhold 直拍 'upright bat'. Besides his Olympic medals he won three world mixed-doubles titles, all with 刘伟 (1991, 1993, 1995).
