usage
液晶 (yèjīng, lit. 'liquid crystal') is the LCD technology. Newer panel types have their own labels: OLED 电视 (OLED TV), 量子点电视 (liàngzǐdiǎn diànshì, QLED), 激光电视 (jīguāng diànshì, laser TV / projector). In casual speech most people just say 电视.
