About the ingredient

水果 Fruit · In season: spring and summer

Small, tart Chinese cherries and bigger sweet cherries ripen from late spring into summer. From December to March, large imported sweet cherries from Chile and Australia, sold as 车厘子, fill the markets. Eaten fresh.
