In 《论语·公冶长》 he sleeps in the daytime and Confucius says 朽木不可雕也 'rotten wood cannot be carved', adding that from now on he will judge people by their deeds, not their words. He also argued that three years of mourning for a parent was too long, which Confucius called unfeeling.
mistakes
