Tips

history
Written in 752, when 颜真卿 was in his early forties, for a pagoda at the Qianfu Temple in Chang'an; the stele now stands in the 碑林 (Forest of Steles) in Xi'an. Its neat, even strokes are lighter than those of his late 颜勤礼碑, which is why teachers start beginners on it.
