Tips

history
The name goes back to the 《山海经》, which places a 君子国 beyond the eastern sea whose people wear caps and swords and like to yield rather than quarrel. 李汝珍 took it into 《镜花缘》 and made the courtesy comic: sellers ask for less and buyers press to pay more.
