usage
伪劣 joins two faults: 伪 (fake, passing itself off as a brand) and 劣 (inferior, failing on quality). It almost always comes before a noun, as in 伪劣产品 (fake and shoddy products), or in the set phrase 假冒伪劣, "counterfeit and shoddy goods".
